We collect two types of information on this site:

Information you give us — When you submit a contact or quote request form, we collect:

• Your name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Property type (home, rental, commercial)
• City or neighborhood
• Description of the job
• Your marketing consent checkbox response

We also collect UTM tracking parameters (source, medium, campaign) that tell us how you found our site — for example, whether you came from a Google search, a Facebook post, or a referral. This helps us understand which marketing is working.

Information collected automatically — Like most websites, nhsindy.com uses Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous data about site visitors, including pages visited, time on page, general location (city or region level only), browser type, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

We do not collect credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, financial account data, or passwords on this site.

2. Why We Collect It

We collect contact form information for one reason: to respond to your request. When you fill out a form, Nick personally reviews it and calls or emails you back to discuss your project.

UTM data helps us understand whether a Google ad or a word-of-mouth referral brought you here, so we can invest our marketing budget wisely.

Google Analytics data helps us improve the site — understanding which pages are useful, which are confusing, and where people drop off.

3. How We Use and Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. Period.

Your contact form data is used only to:

• Call or email you back about your project
• Schedule estimates and service appointments
• Keep a record of work performed at your property (job history)

We may share data with the following third parties as part of normal operations:

• Google Analytics — anonymized browsing data per Google’s Privacy Policy
• Scheduling or invoicing software — if we use a job-management app, your contact details may be stored there; those services are contractually bound not to use your data for their own marketing

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our customers, employees, or property.

4. Google Analytics and Tracking Technologies

nhsindy.com uses Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyze how visitors use the site. IP addresses are anonymized before storage.

You can opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or behavioral tracking beyond standard analytics. We do not run remarketing campaigns that follow you around the web after you leave our site.

5. How We Protect Your Information

nhsindy.com is served exclusively over HTTPS (SSL/TLS encryption in transit). No payment card numbers are collected or stored on our servers. We use reputable, security-conscious vendors for any tools that handle customer data.

6. Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

Our services are directed to adults who own or manage residential or commercial property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age. 7. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

8. Indiana Privacy Law

Nick’s Handyman Service, LLC is an Indiana company. This policy is governed by Indiana law. Indiana’s Consumer Data Protection Act (Senate Bill 5, effective January 1, 2026) establishes privacy rights for Indiana residents.

NHS is a small owner-operated business. Based on our size and the nature of our operations, we do not meet the thresholds that trigger mandatory IDCPA compliance obligations (100,000+ consumers annually or 25,000+ consumers with data revenue). We provide this privacy policy as a courtesy and good-faith commitment to transparency with our customers, not because we are legally required to do so under IDCPA.

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the CCPA. Please contact us to exercise those rights.

9. How Long We Keep Your Information

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as there is a business relationship or as required by applicable law. Job records are kept for a minimum of three years for warranty, tax, and insurance purposes. You may request deletion of your contact information at any time (see Section 7), subject to these retention requirements.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date in the footer of this page. Continued use of nhsindy.com after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers via email.
