TV MountingNo Cable Covers. No Shortcuts.
You bought a premium TV. Don't let someone slap it on the wall with a plastic cable cover running down the drywall.
A clean TV install takes 2–4 hours and gets it right the first time. We locate the studs (not guess), pull in-wall HDMI so cables disappear, relocate power behind the mount with a proper recessed box, and verify the mount is level to ±1/16" before we leave.
What a NHS TV Mount Includes
- Stud location with a quality stud-finder + physical confirmation
- Dead-weight-rated mount bolted into studs (never drywall anchors alone)
- In-wall HDMI + power cable pull (recessed power box, code-compliant)
- Level verification to ±1/16" — no crooked TVs
- Soundbar mount (separate channel) if requested
- Remote + streaming device setup (optional)

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does professional TV mounting cost?
Basic mount (under 65"): $150–$250 + mount hardware. Oversized (75"–85"): $250–$400. Theater class (98"+): $400–$650. With in-wall HDMI + power relocation, add $75–$150.
What's the best height to mount a TV?
Rule of thumb: center of the screen at eye-level when seated. For most living rooms that's 42–48 inches from floor to TV center. For theater rooms with reclined seating, 36–42 inches.
Can you hide cables behind a TV in my home theater?
Yes. We pull in-wall HDMI from the mount location down to your AV receiver or outlet, and we install a code-compliant recessed power box behind the mount so the power cord disappears. No plastic cable covers.
Can a handyman install a TV mount?
For most residential installs, yes — a licensed and insured handyman with proper tools is the right choice. The key is using dead-weight-rated mounts bolted into studs. For tall walls, stone, or brick, we use structural anchors.
Do you mount TVs over 75 inches?
Yes — regularly. Oversized mounts require a 2-person lift and dead-weight-rated mount bolted into two studs. We carry the right hardware for 75", 85", 98", and above.
Can you mount a TV on a brick fireplace?
Yes. We use Tapcon or sleeve anchors rated for the TV's dead weight, drilled into the brick or block (never into the mortar joint). Brick and stone installs run $225–$425 depending on TV size and cable concealment scope. We bring a hammer drill and masonry bits — no surprises on the jobsite.
Do you mount above a fireplace? Will it overheat?
Yes, with caveats. We measure mantel surface temperature during a typical fire and recommend against it if it exceeds 95°F at the proposed TV location. We also strongly prefer a tilt or full-motion mount for above-fireplace installs so the TV can drop down to eye level when you're watching. We'll tell you honestly if it's a bad spot for your setup.
Do you bring the mount or do I supply it?
Either works. Most clients buy their own mount on Amazon or from Best Buy — we'll tell you which model fits your TV before you order. If you'd rather we source it, we charge cost + a small pickup fee (no markup on the mount itself). For 75"+ TVs we'll only install dead-weight-rated mounts — no flimsy budget brackets.
