Plumbing Service Call FAQs

What happens on a plumbing service call?

We show up, find the problem, fix it and get out of your way. Most small repairs are done in one visit. Nothing is billed without your approval. The $150 minimum applies to small jobs, and materials are extra.

How much does faucet replacement cost?

Labor $150–$260 plus the faucet itself. Mid-grade brushed nickel faucets run $150–$345 and premium pull-downs $290–$690. Total installed: typically $300–$745.

Can you fix a running toilet?

Yes. A running toilet is almost always a flush valve, fill valve, flapper or chain problem, and most are fixed in one service call. Typical repair: $150–$225 plus parts.

What plumbing do you NOT do?

Service calls cover existing fixtures you can see and reach; moving drains, adding new lines or roughing in new fixtures is part of our bathroom and kitchen remodel work. We don't repipe, replace water mains or service lines, or do sewer or slab work, and we don't run or modify gas lines.

Do you do slab leaks or sewer-line work?

No. Slab leaks, main sewer-line repair and any below-grade or under-foundation plumbing are outside our scope. Service calls stick to visible, reachable fixtures and connections.

Can you install a tankless water heater?

We replace an existing tankless unit with a new one, like-for-like. We don't do tank-to-tankless conversions, and we don't run or modify gas lines. Scope and pricing are on our water heater replacement page.

Do you do whole-house repipes?

No. We don't do whole-house repipes (PEX or copper run through walls and ceilings). Service calls stay on existing fixtures you can reach; new lines are part of our bathroom and kitchen remodel work.

How much does it cost to replace a kitchen faucet in Central Indiana?

Labor runs $150–$260 across Central Indiana. The faucet itself is on top: mid-grade brushed nickel $150–$345, premium pull-down $290–$690. Total installed is typically $300–$745 for a straight swap with working shut-offs.
