Do you install motorized smart shades?
Yes, on customer-supplied motorized hardware. Hunter Douglas PowerView, Lutron Serena, IKEA FYRTUR, SmartWings, and similar — paired to your app or smart home hub. Battery-pack and hardwired setups both supported.
Can you install blinds on bay windows or angled windows?
Yes. Bay windows, arched windows, oversized picture windows, and angled or odd-shape openings are priced per job. Each panel is measured and bracketed individually so the reveals match across the whole window.
Should I inside-mount or outside-mount?
Inside-mount looks cleaner and is preferred when window depth allows (2" minimum). Outside-mount is better when window depth is too shallow, when you want to block light leakage at the edges, or when you need to cover a damaged frame. We can mount in drywall or directly on the window-frame trim.
Can you cut blinds to size?
Yes. Faux wood and real wood blinds are custom-cut on-site to fit the exact window opening. Cellular and roller shades are typically ordered to spec; if a stock shade is slightly oversized, we can trim where the manufacturer allows.
Do you supply blinds or do I supply them?
Either. Most customers supply their own blinds (Lowe's, Home Depot, Blinds.com, Hunter Douglas, customer-supplied motorized). We can also help you size and source faux wood, real wood, roller, cellular, or Roman shades before the install date.
How long does a typical room install take?
Plan on 20–35 minutes per window for a standard inside-mount install, including measuring, leveling, drilling, and a function check. A typical 12-window whole-house install fits in a single day. Motorized shades add time for pairing and app setup.
