Frequently Asked Questions

How much does faucet replacement cost?

Labor $125–$225 + the faucet itself. Basic chrome faucets $75–$150; mid-grade brushed nickel $150–$300; premium pull-downs $250–$600. Total installed: typically $250–$650.

Can a handyman fix a running toilet?

Yes — running toilets are almost always a flush valve, fill valve, flapper, or chain issue. All in-handyman-scope. Typical repair: $95–$195 + the part (usually $15–$40).

What plumbing do you NOT do?

Anything inside walls, new supply-line runs, water-main or service-line replacement, and new fixture rough-ins. For those we refer to a licensed master plumber.

Do you do slab leaks or sewer-line work?

No. Slab leaks, main sewer-line repair, and any below-grade or under-foundation plumbing are outside our visible-pipe scope. Those jobs require a licensed master plumber with leak-detection, jetter, and excavation tooling. We will refer you to one we trust at no charge.

Can you install a tankless water heater?

Yes — tankless water heater installation is in scope when the gas line, vent path, and electrical are already adequate or only need a short tie-in. Typical labor $650–$1,100 + the unit. If the install requires a new gas-line run inside walls or a panel upgrade, we coordinate the licensed plumber and electrician and stay project lead.

Do you do whole-house repipes?

No. Whole-house repipes (PEX or copper through walls and ceilings) are licensed-plumber work and we don't take them. NHS sticks to visible-pipe residential plumbing — anything you can see and reach without opening drywall. For repipes we refer to a licensed master plumber and can coordinate the drywall and paint repair afterward.

How much does it cost to replace a kitchen faucet in Central Indiana?

Labor runs $125–$225 in Greenwood and the surrounding 18-city service area. The faucet itself is on top: basic chrome $75–$150, mid-grade brushed nickel $150–$300, premium pull-down $250–$600. Total installed is typically $250–$650 for a straight swap with working shut-offs.
