Flooring InstallStraight Lines. Tight Seams.
Most LVP installs fail at the transitions. We pay more attention to the doorways, thresholds, and stair nosings than to the middle of the floor.
LVP and vinyl plank are the most popular flooring upgrade in Central Indiana — waterproof, scratch-resistant, and cost-effective. But the install determines whether it lasts 20 years or pops up in two.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does LVP install cost per sq ft?
Labor runs $2.50–$5.50/sq ft depending on layout, prep, and transitions. Add material at $2.50–$7/sq ft for LVP. Total installed lands $5–$12/sq ft typical. A 400 sq ft living room: $2,000–$4,800 installed including pad-attached LVP.
Do you install over existing flooring?
Sometimes. LVP can float over existing vinyl sheet, ceramic tile (if flat and intact), or hardwood that's tight and level. We will not install over carpet, soft pad, anything with active moisture, or substrates with deflection. Honest answer on your subfloor before we book.
Can you handle transitions between rooms?
Yes. Transitions are where most LVP installs fail. We cut and install T-molding, reducer strips, end caps, threshold transitions, and stair nosings to match the plank profile. Doorways, fireplace hearths, and tile-to-LVP joints all get individual planning before plank one goes down.
Do you remove the old flooring?
Yes — carpet, vinyl sheet, old laminate, padding, staples, tack strip, all of it, and we haul it away. Tile and glued-down hardwood removal cost extra because of the prep time. We quote removal as a line item so you know what's labor vs. install.
How long does a typical room take?
Single room under 300 sq ft: 4–6 hours including prep, install, transitions, and quarter-round. Whole first floor (1,000–1,500 sq ft): 2–3 working days. Stair runs add a half to full day depending on tread count and nosing complexity.
Do you install over concrete subfloor?
Yes for LVP and click-lock vinyl plank — most LVP is rated for concrete with a moisture barrier underlayment. We test for moisture, level low spots with self-leveling compound, grind high spots, and add the manufacturer-spec barrier. We do not install nail-down hardwood over concrete — that's a different trade.
