Why Clogged Gutters Are a Bigger Deal in Indiana
Central Indiana gets about 42 inches of rain a year plus 40+ freeze-thaw cycles every winter. A clogged gutter doesn't just overflow — it dumps water at your foundation, rots fascia boards, and feeds the ice dams that pry shingles loose in January. The mature maples and oaks in Old Town Greenwood, Center Grove, Southport, and the established Indianapolis south-side neighborhoods make twice-a-year cleaning the norm here, not a luxury.

Our 5-Step Gutter Cleaning — No Blower-and-Run
Plenty of crews blow debris out of the gutter and onto your siding, then leave without checking a single downspout. Here's what a real cleanout looks like:
| Step | What we do | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Inspect | Walk the perimeter, check fascia, hangers, seams, and downspout outlets before touching anything | We find sagging sections and rot early — before they're an expensive surprise |
| 2. Hand-clear | Scoop all debris into buckets by hand — no blasting it onto your siding or beds | Blowers redistribute the mess; buckets remove it |
| 3. Flush | Run water through every gutter run and downspout until it flows clear | A gutter is only clean if the downspout actually drains — this is the step most crews skip |
| 4. Minor repair | Re-secure loose spikes and hangers, re-seat minor sags, note seam leaks | Small fixes now prevent pulled-away gutters under snow load in February |
| 5. Photo report | Before/after photos of every run, texted or emailed the same day | You see exactly what you paid for — without climbing a ladder |

What We Don't Do
We're a handyman service — honest about scope. We don't do:
- Full gutter replacement or new gutter installation (we'll refer you to a gutter installer)
- Roof replacement or steep-roof work
- Three-story homes or complex rooflines requiring lift equipment
- Underground drain excavation (we flag clogs; excavation is a drainage contractor's job)
If your gutters are past saving, we'll say so and point you to the right installer. No charge, no hard feelings.
Tell us about your home — we'll reply within 24 business hours with a written quote. It goes straight into our CRM, not an inbox black hole.
Pricing — Typical Ranges, Central Indiana
Typical ranges for standard homes — every job gets an exact written quote before we start, and the quote is what you pay. Heavy debris, long runs, or gutter guards can move the number.
| Home | Typical Range |
|---|---|
| Single-story, standard footprint | $140 – $240 |
| Two-story, standard footprint | $190 – $340 |
| Gutter guard lift, clean & re-seat | Added per linear foot — quoted up front |
| Spring + fall service (booked together) | Discounted pair — ask when you call |
Downspout flushing, minor re-securing, debris haul-off, and the photo report are included in every job above — never itemized surprises.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should gutters be cleaned in Central Indiana?
Twice a year: late spring after the seed and blossom drop, and late fall after most leaves are down. Homes under mature maples and oaks — common in Old Town Greenwood and Center Grove — often need a third mid-fall pass.
When is the best time to book fall gutter cleaning?
Book in September or October. Indiana leaf drop peaks late October through mid-November, and the calendar fills fast once leaves start falling. Cleaning after most leaves are down but before the first hard freeze protects against ice dams.
Do you repair or replace gutters?
We re-secure loose spikes and hangers, re-seat sagging sections, and fix minor leaks at seams while we're up there. Full gutter replacement is outside our scope — if your gutters need replacing, we'll tell you straight and you can bring in a gutter installer.
What happens to the debris?
Everything is hand-scooped into buckets, bagged, and hauled off or left in your yard-waste bin — your choice. We don't blast debris onto your siding or landscaping, and we flush every downspout until it runs clear.
Can you clean gutters on a two-story home?
Yes — standard two-story homes are our bread and butter. We work from stabilized ladders with standoffs that protect your gutters. Three-story homes or steep, complex rooflines are outside our scope.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. BBB A+ rated, fully licensed and insured. Certificate of insurance available on request before work starts. Serving Central Indiana since 2005.
Leaves Are Coming. Your Slot Shouldn't Wait.
October and November book out every year. Get on the schedule now — we'll time your cleanout to the leaf drop.
